GENERAL RULES OF DISCIPLINE

  • Students must imbibe the values of punctuality, regularity, discipline, obedience and honesty.
  • All the students must be smartly and neatly dressed in accordance to the school uniform.
  • Untidy and unkempt haircuts will not be permitted. Boys must have an acceptable general hair cut, that looks decent.
  • Students must be considerate, courteous and polite to all the teachers, seniors, class mates, juniors, office staff, helpers, bus drivers and conductors.
  • Students must be co-operative and exhibit team spirit for positive attitude and conduct.
  • Students must maintain exemplary behavior and show respect for the feelings of others.
  • Students must wish all the teachers and visitors with respect in a befitting manner.
  • Students must interact with teachers respectfully at all times, and obey instructions given to them, both in the class and outside as well
  • Students must not argue with any teacher, office staff or helpers in any case.
  • Students must not look down upon any less privileged or physically challenged and won't pass any castiest and anti-religious comments.

PHYSICAL AND VERBAL ABUSE

  • Any form of verbal or physical abuse in the School is totally unacceptable. Under no circumstance would students abuse or fight with each other. Strict action will be taken against the defaulters.

UNIFORM

  • Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform at all times. It must be neat and tidy. Boys trousers must be properly stitched. The bottom most part of the trouser must not be too narrow. It must be an acceptable one. In no case, fashionable stitching of trouser will be permitted. Girls skirt must look decent. Girls won't put any kind of fancy jewelries. It must be a very simple one. Private clothing can be worn only on birthdays, but that should be a decent one.Student must be very simple in dress. They must practice - "Simple Living and High Thinking."

LEAVE RULES

  • Students will have to submit application addressing the Principal, through the Class Teacher for leave, stating the reason for absence, duly signed by the parents or guardian. If the need is felt, the reason for absence and the signature of the parent/guardian will be verified by the school authority. If the reason for absence is not genuine, the concerned student will have to bear the consequences. Applications will be in the custody of the Class Teachers.

MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION

  • As it is an English Medium school, students are required to speak only in English language. If found speaking in other vernacular languages, will be punished.

VANDALIZING SCHOOL PROPERTY

  • School will not tolerate any damage to desks, benches, books, games equipments and belongings of fellow students, belongings of teachers and damage to other School property. In case of major damage, cost will have to be borne by the parents/guardian. Depending upon the intensity of the damage, school authority may also take action like suspension or expulsion of the student from school.

HOUSE SYSTEM

  • There are four houses " Blue, Red, Green and Yellow". Inter house competitions in different activities will be held. Students will have to involve actively in the interest of their respective Houses.

EXPENSIVE ITEMS

  • Expensive items such as cameras, i-pods, mobile phones etc. are not permitted in School premises. No student will bring such items to school. If caught bringing such unwanted things, school will not return the items, and will be confiscated. Moreover, parents will be called to Principal's office, and will have to submit written undertaking, with due explanation.

LITTER

  • The cleanliness of the School campus is the responsibility of every student in the campus. Spitting is strictly prohibited. Students found littering the school will be punished.

EXAMINATION RULES

  • Students are required to appear for all the examinations conducted by the school. Under extreme cases, if a child fails to sit for the examination, weight age will be given from other examinations, but only after submission of medical proof or application stating the genuine reason, which of course, will be verified by the school authority. Under no circumstances, re-examination will be conducted if a child fails to appear for written examination. Use of Unfair Means in Examinations: School authority is very strict in regard to the use of unfair means in the examination. If caught using cheating papers or exchanging question papers or answer sheets or disturbing fellow students asking answers, stern action will be taken against the student. It may result in suspension/expulsion from school. Under extreme cases, the school authority will go to the extent of issuing TRANSFER CERTIFICATE against such students.
